1.~*The Girl Who Overcame Time and The Boy Who Was Just Overcome*~

It all began in modern day Japan at the Higurashii shrine. A young girl named Kagome has just turned 15. She was cluless about the Shinkon no Tama(Jewel of four souls) until her grandfather told her about it. She left for school after breakfast, but was stopped when she found her little brother, Souta, looking around the building with the well. Souta told her that their cat was down there and she went down to look for it. In the process, she was pulled into the well by mistress centepede. The centepede spoke of the jewel and said that she possessed it. Kagome told her that she didn't have it and told her to leave her alone. After saying this, a power that came from her hand warded her off. She fell to the bottom of the well and climbed out and noticed she wasn't in the old building and couldn't see her shrine from what she could see. She noticed the old god's tree and she knew that if she found that tree she would find her shrine. She went through the forest and found the tree and saw a young boy shot to the tree. She went up to the boy and saw that he had not human ears but dog ears?!?! She thought this was strange and went up to get a closer look.He looked like he was sleeping she tried waking himbut to no avail.She thought "I wonder if I could touch his ears?" She reached out and tweaked his ears for a while. After that was out of her system she didn't know what to do. Suddenly arrows were shot at her and she clung to his hitaro. Then she was captured and tied up in a priestess's village. No one knew who or what she was, she wore strange clothing and they thought she was either a demon or a another village's spy. The old priestess approached her and examined her and splashed her with some kind of sand stuff and said "DEMON BE GONE!!" Kagome then yelled "I'm not a demon!!" Kaede ,the old priestess, grabbed Kagome's chin and examined her face and said "You look pretty clever girl or may ye be a half wit." Kagome enraged said to herself " Why you..." Kaede noticed and thought " Its there..." Kagome and Kaede go to her hut and she fixes food for Kagome. Kaede told her that they have to be careful in these trouble times. Kagome then says " I guess we're not in Tokyo anymore." Kaede said questionably " To-k-yo, is that where your from?"All of a sudden the village was attacked!! Kagome and Kaede rushed outside and Kagome shrieked and said "Its that THING!" It was sure enough it was the centepede woman she dropped a horse in front of the two women. The centepede woman spoke" You have the jewel! give it to me!" Kaede gasped and said "She spoke of the jewel." Kagome then replyed "I don't know what she is talking about!" The centepede woman then went into a rage and spun furiously and crushed some huuts around her and said "I must have the jewel!" Kaede then said "We must send her back to the well." Kagome then asked "The well? Where is it?" Kaede said "In Inuyasha's forest-." "Where the light of the moon is shining! It's after me, I'll lead it away from the village!!" Kaede then said "Wait child! It's too dangerous!" But Kagome was aready gone she ran and the centepede followed her Kagome thought "We'll anyone save me? Someone will save me right? They've got to! Grandpa!!!...Mom!!!...anybody! Whoever you are please sombody help me! Back at the god tree in the Inuyasha forest, the boy pinned to the tree suddenly awoken with a pounding sound of his heart beat *BUDUMP BUDUMP BUDUMP* *Shing!* His claws crack open! "I smell it...the blood of the woman who killed me, its coming closer." He reaches over to notice that the arrow was still there . Meanwhile, Kagome was still being chased by the centepede, Kagome made a right (her right) and ran up the hill. The centepede woman said" The jewel!!! Give it to me!!!" Kagome said through short breaths "I told you I don't have it!" The centepede charged and knocked her up in the air causing her to topple and slide on the ground."AHHHHHHHH!!!" She screams and comes to a stop in front of the god tree."Hello, Kikyo, playing with bugs now are we?" Confused Kagome didn't know who was speaking until she looked up at the boy she saw earlier. "Did he just talk?" She said to herself."So your alive?" she asked him. "So why are you taking so long to kill i, why don't you do her like you did me?" he asked gruffily. "You look pretty dumb there, Kikyo, the Kikyo I know wouldn't waste her time." he continued. Kagome stood up and dusted herself off and said "Kikyo, Kikyo, Kikyo, whoever SHE is...she's not me cause I'm-" interupted the boy said " She's here." The centepede woman came out of the top of the tree and was about to kill Kagome when spears shot out of the other direction and the centepede was hooked and the villigers pulled her away from Kagome. She said outloud "Phew...so I was saved." Your pathetic, Kikyo." The bot commented again. Kagome outraged again stood up and said "I'm not Kikyo!! Look I'm telling you I'm not her, whoever HER is." "And I'm saying you gotta be her cause if your not you wouldn't smell so- *sniff, sniff* your not her..." I know my name is Kagome! Ka-go-me!!!!" "Your right, he turns away, Kikyou was cuter much cuter." Kagome said to herself "What'd you?!" The centepede grabbed Kagome by the waist and then Kagome grabbed Inuyasha's hair and says to the centepede woman "Let go of me!!!" Inuyasha spoke up and said " OW OW OW you let go!!" The centepede woman damnded again "Give me the jewel!" Inuyasha startled at what the thing said, said to himself "The sacred jewel?" Kagome then extends one of her arms and said "STOP IT!" with that the power she didn't know she had came forth through her hand causing the cetepede's arms to fall off. Kagome , at this point, falls to the ground "Hey...I did that before, but how'd I do it though?" The villagers were suprised at what happened and Kaede gasped. The centepede then charged at Kagoem again and grabs Kagome and tosses her in ther air and the jewel pops out of her side. Kagome looked at it and said to herself "It came from inside me." She then plumeted to the ground and falls in front of Inuyasha once again with the jewel, now out and on the ground. Inuyasha said "Give me the jewel! Quick!" The centepede then coils around the tree and squeezes Kagome against Inuyasha and is crushing them. The centepede spoke "I heard there was some half demon sprawling convinscating the jewel, its you isn't it?" Kagome looked up at him and said to herself " Half demon? What is he?" Inuyasha spoke gruffily and boastfully "Half is all I need to kick your scaly hide, anything more than that is a waste of my time." Kagome then speaks up "Listen....you talk big but can you back it up?" Inuyasha confused replies "huh?" She continues " Can you or not?" The centepede then says " What can he do...pinned there like that, or for that matter, HAHAHA, your powerless to stop me!" She then goes over to the jewel and rolls her tongue out and grabs the jewel and swallows it. Inuyasha shouted "Don't you dare!" The villiagers then say "It swallowed the jewel, what shall we do?" Then Kagome clutchs Inuyasha's hitaro and says "Look its rearming!" Then the centepede transforms into a more powerful demon and says evily "Now my power is complete!" The demon then squeezed harder can Kagome says "It's crushing me!!" Inuyasha looks at the arrow and says softly " Hey, can you pull out this arrow?" Kagome not paying attention said "huh?" Inuyasha then yelled "Look can you pull out this arrow or not!?!?" She then says, while extending her arm out and reaches for the arrow, I...don't know...uhhhh!" The centepede woman squeezes tighter. Kaede then says" Neh child! If you pull out that arrow he will be free to destroy us all!" Inuyasha then yells over at her "Don't be stupid,you old hag! Atleast with me you have a chance...where as that thing is going to eat you!" He then sets his attention on Kagome and asks "And what about you? Are you ready to die yet?" She looks up and says to herself "I don't know what I should do but.." Then she says outloud "-given the choice...I choose to....LIVE!!!!" She grabs the arrow and pulls it out and the arrow disappears. Kaede suprised, then said to herself "She broke my sister's spell , it was supposed to last forever!" All of a sudden, His heartbeat starts up again *Badump Badump Badump* Concerned, Kagome asked softly "Umm uh Inu-yasha?" Inuyasha lifts his head and laughs evily "HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Startled the centepede squeezes harder but Inuyasha broke through and Kagome fell to the ground. He then attacks with his claws cutting her to shreads saying"ARGHHH! Nasty hag!" and then yells for the finshing blow "Iron remorse soul stealer!!!" Pieces fly everywhere, Kagome then states to herself "Now I know he is strong." She gets up and then notices a peice of the centepede moved and says "Huh! Its still moving." Kaede then steps up and says" You need to find the glowing flesh and extract it or it will reform again." Kagome grossed out says "Whoa, Whoa Tell me your joking!" Kagome scans the pieces till she came across it and says" There it is! That one!" Kaede walks over to it and pulls it out, after doing so the flesh disappeared and there was nothing but bones. Kaede then hands her the jewel "huh? But? But how'd it get inside my body? Why would I have a jewel wanted by demons?" Inuyasha then walks up stepping on some bones and breaking them. "Exactly...humans can't use it so why bother to keep it? If you hand over the jewel right now I won't have to start sharpening my claws on you." He brings up a clawed hand and cracks his knuckles. Kaede steps in front of her and Kagome was so confused. She says to herself "Wh-...Wha...What you mean he's not the hero?"
