Personality Rin talks a lot, asks a lot of questions, and is very loyal. She follows Sesshomaru around and seems to trust him completely. After all, she wouldn't be alive if he had not revived her. Rin brings out a side of Sesshomaru that we wouldn't see without her. Remember that he and Inuyasha's father was a full youkai that fell in love with a human. I think Sesshomaru is capable of doing the same. He protects Rin even though she is only human. She was kidnapped by Naraku in episode 79. Sesshomaru made a big deal of acting like he didn't care, but he rescued her anyway.

First Appearance Episode 35 - Rin's village, along with her entire family, was destroyed. She survived the attack and went to live in another village, but was always shunned because she didn't have any parents. She found an injured Sesshomaru in the woods and brought him food. Sesshomaru tried talking with her, but she was unable to speak since she saw her family slaughtered so she said nothing. Later on, Sesshomaru found her body after she was killed by wolves. He decided to test out the powers of his new sword, Tessaiga, on her. She was revived and has traveled with him since that day.
