Background Sesshomaru is also known by fans as "Fluffy". He is Inuyasha's older brother, and a full dog demon (youkai). He enjoys fluffy boas, being evil, and bossing around his servant Jyaken. By the way, Jyaken is the little green demon that follows Sesshomaru around. He feels like he owes Sesshomaru since his people were saved, so he follows Sesshomaru looking for an opportunity to repay him. The name means "rock, paper, scissors".

Personality Sesshomaru has the best wardrobe on the show, and an ego to match. He hates Inuyasha for several reasons (spoilers), but the very basic one is that Inuyasha is only half demon and therefore is an embarrassment to the family. One thing that makes him different from all of the other characters is that he doesn't care about the Shikon shards. This fact allows him some more freedom, as he can't be blackmailed and he doesn't have to go looking for them.

First Appearance Episode 05 - Sesshomaru showed up one day looking for his father's burial ground, so that he can get the sword made from his father's fang. He thinks the sword will make him more powerful. He threatens Inuyasha with some pretty evil tricks and eventually finds the place. Inuyasha and Kagome both go there to fight for the sword. This is the first of many interesting brotherly fights. This episode is also the first appearance of Myouga, the little flea that seems to know everything about everyone.

Attacks Mostly claws and energy attacks at first, then his regular sword. Later on, he gets an upgraded sword and uses both. When he gets really pissed off, his eyes glow red as he charges up his youkai blood. He seems especially fond of his poison claws attack.

Reasons he hates Inuyasha He claims to hate Inuyasha for several reasons: Inuyasha is only a half demon, therefore he is weak. Inuyasha fell in love with a human (Kikyo) and allowed himself to get sealed to a tree by her. As a result of this, Inuyasha didn't show up to defend their father. Inuyasha inherited the sword that was able to cause damage (Tessaiga), whereas he got the "crappy" one that could only bring back the dead (Tenseiga). Their father's burial ground was hidden in Inuyasha's eye; it was deliberately hidden from him. What an insult!

WTF happened to his arm? Inuyasha cut it off while he was transformed - that's the transformation at the top. Add that those reasons I was just mentioning. I don't know why it won't grow back seeing as the sword maker guy made a big deal that Inuyasha's fang would grow back in a couple of days, leading me to believe demons can regenerate. But, Sesshomaru really didn't seem to mind about it, he just went arm shopping and found out he could use the Tessaiga if he had a non-youkai arm. Personally I don't see why he doesn't just use Inuyasha's arm. It'd be revenge and he'd get the good sword all in one shot. But, see, Sesshomaru's massive ego prevents him from wearing a low-quality arm.
