PersonalityShippo is always trying to help out. He tries to protect Kagome even though his attacks can't really do much damage. He can transform into just about anything, most notably a big pink flying thing. He can also make magic mushrooms (maybe that's why everybody is so funny looking) that can explode. After he first shows up, he is pretty annoying to Inuyasha because he is always making fun of our favorite half-demon, while Kagome keeps Inuyasha from killing him.
First Appearance Episode 09: Shippo is the first new character to join Inuyasha and Kagome on their quest to find the Shikon shards. When he first appeared, he tried to steal Kagome's shards and allowed Kagome to get kidnapped. Feeling awful about this, he helped Inuyasha find her and ended up hanging around. Kagome asked him why he wanted the shards, and he told her he needed them to become more powerful so that he could avenge his father's death. Inuyasha is conned into helping by Kagome. It doesn't hurt that Kagome finds Shippo to be so "cuuuuuuute!".
